Festival-Inspired Wedding Flowers at Tournerbury Woods | Zee & Tony’s September Wedding
Festival vibes, disco balls and fearless colour
When Zee first described the vision for her wedding, she said just six words:
“Festival meets prom… with disco balls.”
I was completely on board.
Zee and Tony wanted a celebration that felt joyful, bold and unapologetically fun. Inspired by vibrant colour, tropical blooms and sparkling disco details, every part of the day reflected their personalities. It was the kind of wedding that encourages you to smile the moment you walk into the room.
Zee shared a collection of inspiration images filled with rich reds, hot pinks and vibrant greens, alongside a mix of tropical flowers and romantic garden favourites. Together, we created floral designs that felt wild, playful and full of movement.
One of my favourite parts of the whole process was inviting Zee to create the table arrangements alongside me. I love sharing that experience with couples. It’s such a lovely way to slow down before the wedding, spend time together, and make the flowers even more personal.
The table arrangements were designed in glittering pink disco-ball vases using blue delphiniums, green molucella, dahlias, red roses, anthuriums, zinnias and dianthus, creating colourful designs that danced across the tables.
A table designed to celebrate
The olive-green table linen created the perfect backdrop for the vivid flowers, while the beautiful stationery by Blush & Blossom tied everything together. The combination of colour, texture and sparkle made the floral designs truly sing.
Colour that reflected the couple
Zee looked incredible in a striking hot pink gown, while Tony’s deep blue suit balanced the palette beautifully. Together, they embraced colour in a way that felt completely authentic to them, proving that wedding flowers don’t have to follow tradition to feel timeless.
Bringing the festival atmosphere to life
To complete the look, we suspended foliage chandeliers from the marquee ceiling, finished with flowing pink and red ribbons and, of course, plenty of disco balls. They added movement and sparkle throughout the space, transforming the marquee into a celebration that felt more like an unforgettable party than a traditional wedding reception.
Many of the branches used in the installations were foraged locally, making the designs not only beautiful but also more sustainable, as everything could be composted after the celebrations.
